Atlético de Madrid and Elche Club de Fútbol have agreed on the transfer of Rodrigo Mendoza, who has signed a contract with our club until 30 June 2031.
Born on 15th March 2005 in Molina de Segura (Murcia, Spain), he joined the Elche academy in 2019 before making his first-team debut in November 2022 in the Copa del Rey. Since then, he has gone on to make 71 competitive appearances, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
His talent has not gone unnoticed; the midfielder has represented Spain at several youth levels, progressing through the ranks to reach the Under 21 side, with whom he has already played four matches.
