Filipe Luis became a household name in Spain for his excellent service for both Deportivo La Coruna and Atletico Madrid.
The Brazilian defender racked up 352 LaLiga Santander appearances and 15 goals in Spain.
In a clash against Athletic Club at Estadio Riazor on April 13, 2008, Filipe scored his first ever goal in the league, helping his side to a 2-0 win.
The Brazilian left-back impressed during his four years in Galicia which earned him a move to Atletico, where he would go on to become a club legend for his part in the club's LaLiga Santander, Copa del Rey and Europa League successes.
