Villarreal have announced the signing of Dani Parejo, who arrives on a free after rescinding his contract with Valencia.
As such, Valencia will not receive a transfer fee for their former captain.
Parejo has penned a three-year deal at Villarreal with the option for a further year.
During his time at Valencia, Parejo played in a total of 381 games, scoring 65 goals.
As Valencia captain, he lifted the Copa del Rey in 2019 and also became a regular member of the Spain squad.
