Pedri has been the revelation of the season for Barcelona, if not all of LaLiga Santander, playing 27 matches in all competitions and scoring three goals.
The 18-year-old has fitted in seamlessly with the likes of Leo Messi and Frenkie de Jong, and his coach Ronald Koeman backs him against any opponent.
"From day one, I adapted very well because I am at the club where I wanted to be," Pedri said during a virtual round table discussion with Asian media giants.
"When you are surrounded by good players it is a lot easier to learn and do well."
Despite his meteoric rise, Pedri insists he remains grounded.
"I have to focus on what I like, improve day by day and try to avoid all [distractions]," Pedri said.
The round table was attended by the likes of Tencent Sports, Sina Sports, Dongqiudi, iQiyi Sports, Titan Sports, Zhibo8, Hupu and Score Sports.
The meeting was overseen by Barcelona's Hong Kong office, which was opened in 2013 in order to boost the club's image in China, as well as the whole of the Asia-Pacific region.
