Real Betis is preparing to host Feyenoord in the third round of the UEFA Champions League group stage. The team completed their final training session this morning, with Cucho Hernández absent. At noon, Pellegrini and Fornals attended the press conference.
On the recent result:
"I often talk about this with the players. After a win, you should enjoy it for 24 hours; after a loss, you need 24 hours to digest the bitterness of defeat. The result is done, what happened has happened. We are now only thinking about tomorrow's Champions League match, not the league."
On rotation:
"For me, all players are important. We have to play eight matches in 27 days, so rotation is necessary. I consider many variables before selecting the starting lineup. We evaluated and picked the best starting XI against Barcelona, and we will do the same tomorrow. Just because someone didn't play last game doesn't mean they will definitely play the next. The five substitutes who come on at the end are just as important as the starting players."
On VAR:
"It is always a help. It allows a decision to be reviewed, but the final authority must always remain with the main referee, and the relationship between the referee and VAR also needs improvement. I have always believed that VAR can greatly reduce errors."
