So far, everything has gone according to plan. What is there to question? In the original image, Kylian Mbappe was seen next to the two of them, but he has since been cropped out by Real Madrid's social media admin.
The timing of the image does not appear to be coincidental, as it was chosen shortly after Mbappe turned down Real Madrid and elected to stay with PSG. The snapshot has not gone ignored, as evidenced by the comments to the tweet.

Mbappe is still a good player. Fantastic game from him yesterday against Austria, he scored the equaliser to draw the game. Anyone with good character should not excuse what he did. Deliberately deceiving a club, the biggest club with the largest fans and the most successful club on field and out of field. What would it have caused him to say a year ago or even 6 months back, ah things have changed I am not coming again. But he had verbal agreement on Tuesday and by the following day he announced he was going to stay. How many of us engaged in big business will be able to tolerate or withstand the shock of such behaviour. So we are against immoral and irresponsible behaviour but not against his football. He will still play well and win ligue 1 but the chances of PSG winning the Champions League is narrowing very fast because the world class players are gradually being snapped by other clubs. Whether you believe it or not Messi's performance is dwindling. Neymar is an unserious player, age is calling time on Ramos, Donnarumma is not a world class goalkeeper in the face of brutal strike force. Mbappe is a tree that cannot make a forest.

Am from Namibia. In my opinion, Real Madrid is obsessed with Kylian Mbappe. From there activities they are embarrassing themselves. They are just as any other football club. Nothing special. I think Mbappe is right to stay. Good decision lad.

The issue was not rejecting to join Madrid it's the manner in which he did it. first assuring Madrid with raised expectations then he uses the salary offered by Madrid to ripoff PSG. when if it were Barca or any other top team the feeling would be the same!
