There was an exchange between Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique and presidential candidate Victor Font on social media on Friday evening, after Font shared a video featuring the defender.
Pique had given an interview to YouTuber Ibai Llanos and said that he hoped members would turn it to vote where possible.
"We should look to the future now and only look to the past to learn from mistakes," Pique said.
Font then shared that comment in a tweet of his own.
"It's time to look to the future, as the past only serves to learn from errors," Font wrote.
But, Pique replied and called for him to delete that tweet.
"Victor, with all respect, these words don't have anything to do with what is trying to be said in this tweet," Pique stated. "I urge you to delete it and not use my image for your benefit. Thanks."
Font did delete the tweet, but also posted a reply to Pique.
"Gerard, we've used your reflection because it goes along with our line of thinking," the reply started. "In no case did we want to create a problem. We'll delete it. We hope to see you back on the pitch soon. A hug."

Mean while every presidential candidate is busy talking about Messi and Messi doesn't give a F about anyone.
