RMC sports journalist Daniel Riolo stated in an interview with Cadena SER that Mbappe might leave Real Madrid in the summer of 2027 if the team isn't what he wants. However, Riolo emphasized that this was merely his assessment, not based on concrete information.

The suggestion that Mbappe might leave Real Madrid after this season became a focal point of French sports media attention. According to Riolo's assessment, this possibility is not without merit. The reasons trace back to last season when Mbappe first suffered a knee injury that Real Madrid's medical team initially failed to diagnose correctly. Since then, Mbappe has sought out specialists outside the club to examine his injury.

During the program, Riolo further analyzed the possibility of Mbappe leaving Real Madrid in 2027. Regarding the forward's recent behavior and public statements, Riolo said, "I completely don't understand it." He added, "The impression he's giving is that he wants to send a message: he doesn't care about anything."

How worried should Real Madrid fans be about Mbappe's situation?

Riolo stated: "I completely don't understand Mbappe's public behavior over the past month. He gave so many interviews about the Ballon d'Or—I don't understand that approach. His actions with the French national team and going to nightclubs with his girlfriend, I also don't understand. I absolutely don't understand it. This is problematic; he seems to want to send the message: 'I don't care about anything.' He doesn't care what the outside world, club members, or the club itself say. He seems to live in his own world and wants to leave after the season."

Do you have concrete information that he wants to leave Real Madrid?

Riolo said: "This is not concrete information, just my feeling. He's concerned about what he's experienced since arriving at Real Madrid because with Mourinho's arrival, the team is not what he originally imagined. It's still the same team as last year with the same problems, just with a different coach. This is more my feeling than concrete news, but his behavior is not normal. Going to a nightclub after leaving the French national team and then appearing in public cycling—that's not normal. It sends a negative signal to Real Madrid fans."

So it cannot be ruled out that he might leave next summer?

Riolo stated: "I think it's possible. If the team isn't what he wants, I think he might leave. I don't think he's happy with how things have gone at Real Madrid this season. But in my opinion, his behavior is a significant problem. He's living on another planet. After being injured, how can he still go to nightclubs and cycle? The message he's sending is: 'I don't care about anything.'"

Does he feel that Real Madrid hasn't given him enough support in his pursuit of the Ballon d'Or?

Riolo stated: "Yes, he's likely dissatisfied with Real Madrid's approach. He originally thought the club's tradition was to help its players win the Ballon d'Or, but they haven't done that this time. I feel that in the past, Real Madrid supported its Ballon d'Or candidates more actively. But this year, I don't get that sense."
