RMC: Zidane to skip tonight's Ballon d'Or ceremony in London; FFF president to represent France

The highly anticipated 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place tonight in London. Mbappé, Yamal, Kane, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are among the contenders for the award, vying to succeed last year's winner, Dembele.

However, it has been confirmed that Zinedine Zidane, the 1998 Ballon d'Or winner, will not attend the ceremony in London. Despite multiple French players being nominated this year, Zidane has chosen to be absent. The French Football Federation will be represented by its president, Philippe Diallo, who will attend this major event in world football on behalf of the federation.
