A Liverpool fan still irate at Sergio Ramos for injuring Mohamed Salah in Saturday's Champions League final appears to have found proof that the defender deliberately hauled him to the ground.
The Real Madrid captain fell awkwardly with Liverpool's star player as they competed for a loose ball in the first half of the match. The pair locked arms and Salah came off far worse by dislocating his shoulder.
And a piece of footage from last year's Champions League final against Juventus has added significant weight to the argument that Ramos locked arms on purpose. The clip shows Ramos doing the same thing to Dani Alves before they fell to the ground.
It was a carbon copy of the incident with Salah and for some Liverpool fans it is all the proof they need to confirm that Ramos is a master of the dark arts. Indeed, the referee on the night thought the Spaniard was up to something and showed him a yellow card while Alves received treatment.
One fan on Twitter wrote: 'An MMA fighting analyst dissects Ramos's 'takedown' on Salah. Far too many aspects of it are deliberate for my liking. Can't do anything about it now, but just goes to show what kind of man he is.'
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp later admitted that his side were unsettled by the premature departure of their star player, who finished the season with an incredible 44 goals to his name.
The score was 0-0 at the time, but Liverpool's had been a big threat in front of goal before Salah left the field in tears.
Ramos, who lifted his fourth Champions League trophy in five years as Real Madrid captain after helping them to a 3-1 win over Liverpool, did his best to extinguish the furore by sending Salah some well wishes on Twitter.
He wrote: 'Sometimes football shows you its good side and other times the bad. Above all, we are fellow pros. Get well soon Mo Salah.'
The Egyptian is now a major doubt for the World Cup, although the man himself has stated his confidence that he can beat the odds and make it to Russia this summer.

It wasn't intentional. He didn't mean to hurt Salah. He tried to kill him. He even apologized later on Twitter for nt getting it right.

This is why he has amassed staggering 24 red cards in his football royal rumble career. Funny enough, he always escape punishment at the dirtiest moment, against Nani of Man Utd he asked the ref to give Nani red card which the referee did to the surprise of watching fans . Sergio Ramos is professional in everything he does , receiving and not receiving yellow or red card . Every real football follower knows that was a clear and deliberate foul irrespective of team you support. We all knows that giving the deserved free kick doesn't guarantee Liverpool victory on the night, but let fairness prevail to dispel any hard feelings.

are u now watching football? most players do hold on to the shirt of others but it becomes a crime when u pull it or keep hold to it for a long time,it is normal for players to entangle each other with the arms but it becomes an offence when u keep hold of it and pull it,just as Ramos did,Salah might have held on to him to gain balance, but Ramos sensing he was going to lose the fight to reaching the ball first had to hold and pull salah's arm to commit a professional foul, unfortunately salah got hurt and the referee didn't even whistle for a foul, its not too surprising looking at the history of that degree,he has never shy away from controversy in a major tournament.

Ramos knew what he was doing, dont matter who grabbed who first, the problem is ramos never let go of his arm if anything u can tell he tied up his arm more to make sure Salah arm doesn't get away. we all know ramos is a dirty player and no one can denie that, only if u r a RM fan, u would say no. that's like being caught on camera stealing and saying that's not me. lol
