Marcus Rashford is not certain he will be at Barcelona next season, but if the Manchester United loanee had a magic wand, he would conjure up an extended stay at Camp Nou.
Rashford opened the scoring with a tremendous free-kick as Barca beat Clasico rivals Real Madrid 2-0 to retain their league title on Sunday.
The England international whipped his shot into the top corner on Thibaut Courtois' side of the goal nine minutes in, and after Ferran Torres lashed in an 18th-minute second, Barca never looked likely to relinquish their advantage.
Rashford has enjoyed a resurgence since swapping Old Trafford for Camp Nou, scoring 14 goals and supplying 11 assists in 47 appearances for the Blaugrana (all competitions).
That is more goal involvements than he managed in either of the last two seasons, having recorded 13 for United in 2023-24, and 19 in 2024-25 (10 for United, nine in a half-season loan spell with Aston Villa).
Only Lamine Yamal (24 goals, 17 assists), Fermin Lopez (13 goals, 17 assists) and Raphinha (19 goals, seven assists) have recorded more goal involvements for Barca in 2025-26.
Hansi Flick's side reportedly want to make Rashford's stay permanent, though his hefty wages at United could prove a stumbling block in any negotiations.
But when asked if he wanted to stay by BBC Sport, Rashford said: "I don't know, I'm not a magician. If I was, I'd stay, so we'll see!
"I came here to win. I want to win as many things as I can and this is one more to add. This team is going to win so much in the future, too, so being part of that would be special."
Rashford's goal was only the third Barca have scored from a direct free-kick against Real Madrid this century – the last one, in October 2012, came from Lionel Messi, also in LaLiga.
"I wasn't going to shoot, because when I didn't put the ball down I didn't see the angle, I didn't feel confident, so I was going to cross," Rashford said.
"But then everyone was telling me to shoot so I hyped myself up a little bit. It was good that I shot in the end! It was a good goal."
Barcelona close out their season with trips to Alaves and Valencia, either side of a home match against Real Betis next Sunday.

If you like score the best goal in the world, you have no place at Man Utd anymore. This Rashford is only playing this way to get a new contract, the exact same way he played and scored 30 goals at Man Utd and deceived the management to awarding him that worldly contract.
