Marcus Rashford spent the end of last season on loan at Aston Villa before picking up an injury and is now in the shop window as an exit from Manchester United is expected
Marcus Rashford appears to have announced his return to fitness ahead of a summer transfer away from Manchester United. The Red Devils' academy product is expected to depart Old Trafford in the coming weeks.
Rashford fell out of favour at United following the arrival of Ruben Amorim and was unable to even make matchday squads before moving on loan to Aston Villa. The 27-year-old's performances in the Midlands earned him a place in Thomas Tuchel's England squad as he found some positive momentum.
The forward saw his season end prematurely due to injury and now is reminding potential suitors of his availability as he puts in work on the training ground. Rashford missed the final month of the season with a hamstring injury.
But the striker has shown his progress conducting drills on Wednesday evening. Rashford has shared a video of himself doing a 'high knees' exercise on the grass.
Tellingly, Rashford captioned the clip: "Feeling good again," accompanied with a broad smile emoji. That marks a positive signal to anyone interested in his signature, with little chance of Rashford being welcomed back by Amorim.
Villa held an option to sign him permanently for £40million but they're now unlikely to trigger that clause, with Rashford's ambition to move to a Champions League club. A switch to Barcelona is said to be his preference with the Catalan club also interested in the move.
Rashford's agent and brother, Dwaine Maynard, was seen meeting with Deco in Catalunya. There has yet to be a formal move from the La Liga giants however.
Former Porto and Chelsea midfielder Deco has admitted that his side are interested in reinforcing their forward line. “In attack, it will depend on what we can do in the market. But perhaps it is the only sector in which we identify that one or another player is missing." he told Globoesporte.
Rashford may be required to be patient for any prospective move to Camp Nou. The United attacker and Liverpool's Luis Diaz are both of interest but Barcelona's priority is currently tying down their current players.
"We have been focusing on renewing contracts, after that, we'll discuss players to come," he told BBC Sport. "Of course, these two players, like you mentioned, they are good but have contracts in their clubs, so we won't speak because it's not fair.
"But when you decide to go to the market, for sure, we find some names. In my opinion, we don't need to bring many players. When I speak with the agents of the players, everyone wants to come or stay. So this is important. The image of the club is still good. We are proud because Barcelona is still such a big club, and the way we are playing football makes players want to come."

This boy's career is gradually being destroyed by the English media if not destroyed already. the hyping they gave to this boy even when he made mistakes on the field was too much and it went into his head. now he is even finding it difficult to find a good club to sign him. he has flop bcos he never listens to his managers thinking he had already made it. he was thinking that he was already a super star but those who won more than 3 balon d'ors were even working hard to improve themselves, he was moving from one entertainment joint to another. he is the cause of his situation now

There is another player at united cannot do his job and that is to score goals but never subject to criticism like Rashy.i don't know the reason for this attitude that differs from one player to the text. Rashy will make us proud. All the best Rashy there is the majority that has confidence in you.
