October 29, 2019, marks the 25th anniversary of Raul Gonzalez's Real Madrid debut and, as such, there have bene a lot of tributes coming in for the legendary forward, including from former teammate Fernando Hierro.
Raul joined Real Madrid from Atletico Madrid's academy as a child and made an instant impression with his goalscoring prowess, which caught the attention of players in the first team.
"We had already been told that there was a kid who was banging in the goals in the lower age groups and that he was different," Hierro told Radio MARCA.
"He was a boy who had his eyes open, with great enthusiasm and an out-of-the-ordinary ambition.
"We all understand that due to what he represented every day."
Raul is currently coaching Real Madrid Castilla, but Hierro sees the former No.7 going on to emulate Zinedine Zidane by taking charge of the first team.
"Raul has everything to become Real Madrid head coach," he stated.

Frankly, Madrid needs a Manager who can build the team. I don’t know about Raul but Zidane’s second stint was always a bad choice for him and Madrid. He isn’t someone who can groom talents and build teams from the scratch. But sure he can make champions invincibles. I don’t think Zidane will stay for a long term. And Madrid should bring someone who can build the team, may be it’s Raul.
We are having rough times.. soon we will rise to become the team we were before

Yes he will be Madrid's coach in future but he will have to wait. Right now Zinidine Zidane is our coach. And he is not going away anytime soon. Players and true Real Madrid fans support and respect Zidane. First Mourinho and now Raul, looks like some people are really scared of Zidane on what can he achieve. [Crylaugh][Crylaugh]

Raul is still learning please don't even think of that.. If madrid really wants Raul to coach Madrid first he should be under one experienced Coach and not a manager.. Like zizo was learning from Ancelote

It's bid early to made him head coach of Madrid, let him mold and matured a further more where he is now and as of now Zidane is doing a good job and building a team which was badly hammered.

All these talks about Raul becoming coach, is he trying to force Zidane out, I mean common there's someone at the helm presently, there shouldn't be all these talks right now
