USA international Johnny Cardoso has an agreement in place to join LaLiga club Real Betis, reports Spanish outlet Relevo.
The fee for the USMNT player - who has an Italian passport - could be in the region of €4-5m ($4.2-5.2m). The Andalusian side have monitored the 22-year-old for a while, and believe he is the right type of profile to join Los Verdiblancos ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

The midfielder plays for Brazilian club Internacional and has been one of the outstanding players in the Copa Libertadores this year, despite his team being knocked out of the tournament at the semi-final stage against fellow Brazilian outfit Fluminense, in a match that had Betis representatives in attendance.
