Real Madrid are already in Moscow

Julen Lopetegui's side travelled to Russia on Sunday, ready to face CSKA Moscow on Tuesday in their first home away match of the Champions League.

The players were greeted at the airport terminal by supporters wanting an autograph.

With 20 players in the squad for the match at the Luzhniki stadium, the Real expedition left from the Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas airport and landed in the Russian capital shortly before 9:30pm local time (8:30pm CEST).

Along with the first team, the U19A team travelled, and they will play at 13:00 local time in the UEFA Youth League against their CSKA counterparts.

This Monday, Lopetegui's side will train in the stadium.

Every available first-team player has been called up, the main absence being that of Gareth Bale, who ended the derby in discomfort and had to be replaced.

Sergio Ramos has stayed in Madrid to rest and recover, being the only player on the team that has played every possible minute to this point.

In addition, Lopetgui can't count on Isco or Marcelo who are recovering from their injuries.
