Real Madrid confirm Zidane’s brother Farid has passed away
Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has left the club's pre-season tour of North America due to a family matter yesterday. And today the club announce that the manager's brother Farid Zidane has passed away, and expressed condolences.
Zidane left Los Blancos' training camp on Friday to fly back to Spain and be with his family.
In Montreal, the players and coaching staff all observed a minute's silence before starting the fourth day of their pre-season training.
During the days that Zidane will be absent, the sessions will be led by his assistant, David Bettoni.
