Real Madrid eyeing Espanyol's Marc Roca as Pogba & Eriksen replacement (MD)

Real Madrid are eyeing Espanyol's Marc Roca after failing to land Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Roca, 22, was impressed with his performance at the Bernabeu and has since been followed. He is one of the best players in the EURO U21 this year and Real Madrid's technical director claims he will be an important player for Spain just in two years.

Roca would fulfil the work of Casemiro when he is not on the pitch.

For Espanyol the position is clear. If some clubs want to buy him, they must pay 40M to trigger the release clause.

In principle, this would not be the idea of Real Madrid, which would seek to reduce the transfer fee including any of their players, as they have done on previous occasions.
