The Brazilian striker, 21, suffered a cruciate knee ligament tear in September but Real Madrid are eyeing the situation and will big when he returns according to SportTV.
Real Madrid do not want to miss out on any Brazilian talent. For that reason, they don't want to rule out the signing of Pedro, Brazil's top scorer with Fluminese at just 21 years of age, after he recovers from a terrible knee injury.
The Spanish side were in pole position to sign the player at the start of September but just after that, on the 18th of the month, the footballer tore his cruciate knee ligament and will not return to action until March.
Real Madrid will bid for Pedro when he returns from injury
But Real Madrid are eyeing the situation and will be ready when he does return according to SportTV. If he does not show any signs of permanent damage, they will present an offer of €25 million to Fluminese when he does return.
That is the same price they considered back in September, which is just half his release clause.

RM are picking up all the emerging stars in Brazil and I love it. It might not pay off now but this team will be filled with stars that have many years to play. I’m looking forward to what the club has to offer after the likes of Benzema, Bale, Ramos, Marcelo, Modric, etc. move on

Why always brazil players
@lawrence n It's a form of brain drain, football-wise. Eventually some of these young one will end up playing for Spain like thiago, Rodrigo of Valencia, Diego Costa. Official theft!!!

I don’t know anything about him but my first thought is we don’t need another young forward from the Brazilian league, we need depth and proven goal scorers at this point

If the teams agree on a value, further examinations would be necessary. The president said that the window is closed but if Pedro, Fluminense and another club reach an agreement, the transfer will occur in the next window.

Fluminsense had offers from Bordeaux and Monterrey (MEX) and the market value is on the ballpark of 20mi euros. There's no offer on the table yet because Pedro had a knee injury that may or may not require surgery.

Brazilian forwards are excellent. Papa Flo doesn't want another Neymar to slip through his fingers.

Outside of Spaniards, Brazil is becoming our most common source of youngsters
