Almeria have parted company with head coach Pedro Emanuel after a run of disappointing results. Real Madrid legend Guti could be new coach of Almeria, per multiple reports.
The Andalusian side are currently second in LaLiga Smartbank but have won just one of their last eight matches.
Owner Turki Al-Sheikh ran out of patience with Emanuel after a 0-0 draw at Real Oviedo on Friday.
Guti has been heavily linked with the job following a tweet from Almeria's official Twitter account.
"A certain 14 is flying in," they tweeted in Batman style.
