Martin Calderon, one of Real Madrid's standout youngsters, will spend next season on loan at Pacos de Ferreira in the Liga NOS.
Pacos de Ferreira will have an option to buy 50 percent of Calderon's rights for 500,000 euros.
The 21-year-old has spent the last two campaigns with Castilla, but he has now gone in search of regular senior football as he targets a spot in Spain's under-21 setup.
Calderon joined Los Blancos' academy in 2013 after rising up through the ranks at Sevilla.
The midfielder, who possesses excellent tactical awareness and game intelligence, has represented Spain at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level.

Such a promising talent. Good luck in Portugal. That's the same route Casemiro took until he became a world class midfielder and the best at his job.
