Real Madrid need to react positively vs Sevilla after awful UCL performance

Wednesday's defeat at the Parc des Princes was painful for Real Madrid and their travelling entourage, which included Florentino Perez, and things aren't going to get any easier for Los Blancos as hell awaits them at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Sevilla have started the season incredibly well under Julen Lopetegui, a coach who is incredibly determined to get one over on his former employers, and the Andalusians have a fine recent record against the Madrid club.

Visits to the Sanchez Pizjuan have been a nightmare for Los Blancos over the past four years, and in a match that is a must-win for Zinedine Zidane, the fixture could hardly have come at a worse time.

Real Madrid need to react positively after such a bad performance, and the only way they can do this is with a victory; those are the margins Zidane is working within.

The most recent defeat away to Sevilla kickstarted a negative run which ultimately cost Lopetegui his job as Real Madrid coach, and even Zidane himself doesn't know what it's like to win at the Sanchez Pizjuan.

One of the negatives which has marked Real Madrid's poor domestic return in recent years has been an inability to win the big matches away from home.

In the last four seasons they haven't taken a single point from trips to Sevilla, whilst the Camp Nou and the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano have also been difficult venues for Los Blancos.
