Within the space of three days, the Real Madrid squad will undergo two tests, on Sunday afternoon at home with no training planned and then on Tuesday.
That has been decided by the club's medical department, while travel conditions ahead of the trip to England to face Manchester City require tests 48 hours before flying.
The team will travel on Thursday and will then have a final training session at the Etihad Stadium with a virtual press conference to follow.
