Real Madrid raise motivation ahead of return: We are ready to face rivals again

Real Madrid have released a motivational video on their social networks comparing their return to action as one of the club's great comebacks.

It will have been 98 days between Los Blancos' last outing and their meeting with Eibar on Sunday, leading the club to try to spark excitement about what's at stake in the remainder of the season.

Emilio Butragueno speaks over the video which features scenes of their players training during lockdown, fans applauding medical professionals from their balconies as well as clips from past matches.

"We can't live without playing, in difficult moments we become even closer," the video begins.

"We are Real Madrid and Real Madrid never give up. We are ready to return, to give our best, just as in the great comebacks.

"We will celebrate together again. We are ready to face our rivals again.

"We are Real Madrid, we want to continue enlarging the club's history. Wearing this shirt is an honour, and we are ready to wear it again," it concludes.
