Real Madrid v Barcelona: How and where to buy tickets for the first El Clasico of the season

Real Madrid will host Barcelona in the first Clasico clash of the year in the final weekend of October, with the game confirmed as taking place at 21:00 CEST on Saturday the 26th.

For fans that wish to attend what is shaping up to be one of the tastiest first encounters of the season in some time, here are the various options available.

Los Blancos are yet to put general public or member tickets on sale, meaning at the time of writing the only way to get in via the official club website is via VIP tickets. Prices for the expensive seats start at €850. Once tickets do go on sale, usually the Monday before the game for general public, that will be where to get them cheapest, but there is a good chance that it is a sell-out, with members snapping up all the tickets.

Meanwhile Barcelona similarly are yet to put tickets up for sale, but the meagre traveling support will be restricted to club members and supporters’ club offerings.

Undoubtedly the world’s biggest fixture, the start to the season that both have had promises a fascinating clash.
