Real Madrid will reportedly not allow attacking midfielder James Rodriguez to leave in January.
The Colombia international returned to the Bernabeu last summer after a two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich.
Rodriguez, who has started just five games this season, has been linked to moves elsewhere but now Madrid do not want to him to depart next month and have put their faith in him, according to Spanish outlet AS.
The 28-year-old's campaign has been plagued by injuries with his most recent setback coming in November.
Rodriguez suffered a knee injury while on international duty and is expected to return in the new year.
He did have an operation on the same knee last year after damaging the ligament, forcing him to miss over two months of action while he was on loan in Germany.
Rodriguez returned to training earlier this month with Madrid in action against Getafe on Saturday.
