Real Madrid will have to watch out for Luis Suarez when they face Real Zaragoza in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

Not the Uruguayan one, but the Colombian who is tearing up LaLiga SmartBank this season and is his club's top scorer with 14 goals.

This Luis Suarez arrived in Spain when he signed for Granada at the age of 18 in 2016.

Due to owner Gino Pozzo's links to Watford, Suarez made the move to the Premier League club but never played.

He was loaned out to Real Valladolid B and Gimnastic de Tarragona before arriving on loan at Zaragoza this season.

Lucho, as he's known in the dressing room, has hit the ground running with Zaragoza and isn't just valued for his goals.

On the pitch, he's a fighter, never gives up on a loose pass and his faith is infinite. Thanks to him, Zaragoza have scored goals that weren't possible.

Suarez's 14 goals this season have fired Zaragoza into the race for promotion and, if they make it into LaLiga Santander next season, the club will try to sign him from Watford permanently.

On the international stages, Suarez has acquired Spanish nationality and can play for either the country he lives in or the country of his birth - Colombia.

"My dream was always to play for Colombia, but I'm not closing the door on Spain," he says.
