According to the latest report from Swiss Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Vinicius' contract renewal negotiations have completely failed, his relationship with Xabi Alonso is also tense, and Real Madrid is willing to sell him next summer with an initial transfer fee of 150 million euros.

It is reported that due to the complete failure of contract renewal negotiations, Real Madrid has set an initial transfer fee of 150 million euros for Vinicius. The tension between the Brazilian international and Xabi Alonso has reached a point where a source close to the Real Madrid dressing room revealed that "it is hard to imagine Vinicius staying at Real Madrid next season."

Real Madrid has recognized the growing external interest in Vinicius and has now opened up the possibility of selling him in the summer of 2026. The most likely buyer is a government-backed club from Saudi Arabia.

By then, Vinícius will be able to choose the team he wants to join in the Saudi PL. Given the substantial budget that this deal may involve, some Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, are monitoring the situation but are not in a hurry to reveal their intentions in this case.
