Reus: I'd be glad Messi could play & everyone knows he's the best in the world

Marco Reus said Monday that he would be glad that Messi could play against his team in the Champions League, after recovering from his injury, adding that everyone knows that the player of Barca “is the best in the world”.

“ I'd be glad he could play. It is clear that Barcelona is better with him because as everyone knows Messi is the best in the world,” Reus said at the pre-match press conference.

However, Reus pointed out that although he and his teammates are happy to face Barcelona because they always want to play against the best in the world, the key tomorrow is to be focused on their own performance.

“ We don't have to think about Barcelona but about ourselves. Of course, we are always happy to play against the best but the key now is that there are three points at stake and we want to win them.”
