Chelsea paid a record fee to bring Potter to the club from Brighton as part of a long-term vision, but with the Blues languishing in mid-table he was sacked and the board were tasked with appointing a new head coach once again.
Bruno Saltor took charge of the goalless draw with Liverpool, then Lampard was sensationally brought back to Stamford Bridge until the end of the season, just over two years after his own Chelsea sacking.
An exhaustive search is set to be underway to identify the next Chelsea boss, though comments from club insiders will not have given supporters much confidence. The likes of Julian Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino, Carlo Ancelotti, Jose Mourinho and Oliver Glasner have been mentioned as potential Potter replacements, though Keys has questioned the man with the final say.
Boehly has been the face of the new ownership group, having taken up the role of interim sporting director in the summer amid a huge spending spree that is yet to yield the desired results. Keys took aim at Boehly in the beIN SPORTS host's blog, labelling him a “lunatic” after he reportedly sought the advice of Gavin and Stacey star James Corden before appointing Lampard.
After learning that Jesse Marsch had turned down the Leicester job, Keys' joked that he must have spoken to Boehly regarding the vacant Chelsea position. “Who does he [Marsch] think he is?” Keys wrote. “Maybe he's had a call from that lunatic Boehly telling him to hold off because he's in line to replace Lampard?
“Boehly, we read, is now taking advice from James Corden. Well - it makes sense doesn't it? Perhaps Fred Karno was engaged when he tried to call him? Seriously. What is Marsch waiting for? I don't see him getting another offer to work in the PL.”
It is not the first time Keys has called out Boehly for his decision-making, last week he declared Chelsea a “shambles” following the sacking of Potter. “What a shambles the owner of Chelsea, Todd Boehly, has created at The Bridge,” he said. “Potter's sacking was inevitable and overdue. Sacking him isn't a mistake - sacking Tuchel was.
"I really wanted Potter to succeed, but it's been evident for weeks that he was out of his depth. This morning he's got to be as relieved as he is rich. What other business rewards failure like football does? It's madness.”

I wonder how Boehly succeed in his business, his decision to select low class managers baffles me, I think he should be more rudeness than his predecessor

He's a big lunatic,God of Chelsea fans will punish UK government for taking Chelsea away from Roman and handing over to mad people,in less than a year they have downgrade the club to be a bottom table clubs, why can't he leave the people running the affairs of the club to continue or replace them with another group of people?he took over every position himself and killed the club , signed bunch of average players for big money, Cucurella is not even good to play for Tottenham Hotspur but Boely signed him up for Chelsea, the likes of chukwuemeka, madueke, including sterling are good players but not enough for Chelsea and he appointed an average coach to lead average players, nothing good can ever come out of it..

Todd Boehly can't fit into Sir Roman Abramovich's shoes by far....It took only seconds to turn things around at Chelsea football club.
