Roma suffered a stunning collapse in their Champions League group stage Matchday 4 match, losing 3-2 away to Man United.

Roma enjoyed a dream start, taking a 2-0 lead within 18 minutes, but Man United scored three unanswered goals in the second half to win the match.

It was not the first time Roma had suffered such a collapse in this season's Champions League. In their Matchday 2 home game against Real Madrid, they also led 3-1 but conceded three late goals following defensive lapses at corners, losing 4-3.

As a result, Roma have become the first team to lose twice after holding a two-goal lead in a single Champions League season.
