Would be a very weird career choice from him. How so?

He's far from ready for a next step.

Well, he would get a decent amount of minutes here since Di Francesco is very good at rotating players and giving chances to play even to young prospects. It just looks like he wants more money and he is not likely to get that in the Netherlands. Coming to Rome might be a decent career choice for him.

Roma would be a good place for him IMO. Lots of young talented players, good coach, nice city to live in.

If this is true, it means is Monchi's bet. And in a couple of years they will be selling him for a huge amount of money.

Hmm, that sounds good. The thing is, he isn't really consistent in the Eredivisie and he mostly scored against lower teams. Everybody sees he's talented. He has been acting really weird. Kissing the Ajax logo during the matches and saying how he loves Ajax etc, while demanding an insane amount of money relative to our other players.

It might not even be that bad then, but I don't understand why he wouldn't stay at Ajax, where he can play every week at 19 years old the whole matches for at least one more year. Though I hope Ajax won't let him leave and set an example in benching him for a year. How much money do you think AS Roma would give for him, considering he only has 1 year left on his contract? Totally agree. Obviously I hope I'm wrong and turns out into a great players for us, and DiFra is very good with youngsters. But to be honest he hasn't shown anything consistent up to now and at Ajax he'd be able to play all matches even if he's playing bad probably. No idea on a possible transfer fee. I'd be surprised if he went for more than € 15-20m though, as he is still young, quite unproven and he has only one year on his contract. On the other hand, if he demands a salary of € 1,5m after taxes (as reported), I guess that we could afford it without much hesitation.

I don't see him go for more than €15m. In the Netherlands we mostly talk about salaries before taxes, so I assume he wants €1.5m before taxes.

One of our youth players, Luca Pellegrini (LB), is managed by Raiola and he recently renewed his contract at €1.6m before taxes (€0.8 after taxes). He hasn't debuted yet with our first team. I'm surprised by seeing how big is the difference in salary between an Italian youth player and a young starter in the Eredivisie. Now I understand why all the promising players tend to leave the Netherlands, it's quite sad tbh.
