€50 million! Romano: Chelsea submit official bid of €40 million for Barcelona midfielder Fermín
According to an exclusive report by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have officially bid €40 million for Barcelona midfielder Fermín.
Romano said: "Exclusive news, Chelsea have officially submitted a written bid for Fermín to Barcelona! The first bid of €40 million was sent immediately after today's match. The Blues are waiting for Barcelona's response to the proposal submitted today."
The 22-year-old Fermín came through Barcelona's youth academy. Up to now, he has made 89 appearances for Barcelona's first team, scoring 19 goals and providing 11 assists. His transfer value on Transfermarkt is €50 million.

Market value doesn’t matter, Jackson market value is less than 50m. Chelsea is demanding 100m for the flop. Only release clause play crucial role. A club can set any amount they want for their players irrespective of the market value. Barcelona can demand 100m or nothing as long as there is no release clause
