Having left Spain because he no longer felt appreciated, the Portuguese has praised the welcoming environment of his new club
Cristiano Ronaldo has described Juventus as "more of a family" than Real Madrid and has praised his new team-mates' humility.
The 33-year-old swapped the Spanish capital for Turin in July, claiming he left Madrid after nine years because he no longer felt as valued as he did when he arrived in 2009.
Ronaldo has helped Serie A champions Juve open up an eight-point lead at the top of the table after 15 games of this season, while they have already qualified for the Champions League's last 16 too.
Having scored 11 goals already, Ronaldo has adapted quickly to life at Juventus and he has credited the Bianconeri's environment for that.
"It isn't right to name someone specific but I can say that this is the best group in which I've played," Ronaldo said in an interview with Italian newspapers.
"Here, we are a squad, elsewhere, some players feel bigger than the others. Instead, here, everyone is on the same level, they are humble and want to win.
"If [Paulo] Dybala or [Mario] Mandzukic don't score, they are still happy and you see them smile.
"For me, it is beautiful, to feel that difference. Also at Madrid they are humble, but here I feel that sense more.
"It's very different to Madrid, here it is more of a family."
Ronaldo won the Champions League four times with Madrid, having also been part of Manchester United's victorious team in 2007-08.
Juventus have not won the competition since 1995-96 and their fans are hopeful that Ronaldo's arrival can end their wait to lift the trophy again.
However, the forward has warned that the club cannot become obsessed with the Champions League like Real Madrid did when they were seeking 'La Decima' between 2002 and 2014.
"The 10th was a huge obsession, but the moment you can win is when you relax mentally," Ronaldo added.
"Yes, we all want it, but we have to get it step by step. Look at the game with [Manchester] United [which Juventus lost 2-1], if it was a quarter-final we would have come out.
"We need a little luck, the right moment, the details."

It's completely OK to be a fan of Messi and Ronaldo. It's the best thing to do because both of them are phenomenal in their own way. One is a prolific goalscorer while other is a fantastic playmaker, dribbler Sometimes the fans go on to disrespect either of them just to satisfy their choices and this makes football lose it's meaning. We must understand no matter who we support, but they both are the players who have brought a revolution in modern day football and have inspired the others to follow and play the same. Being fans of both at the same time is the 'BEST' thing to do and this is how you can make football great as a sport😍❤❤

U see how he is talking foolishly about madrid. But let we Madrid fans use any abusive word against him, there u will see the Ronaldo fan boys attacking us.A team that supported u to win 4 Ballon d'ors n numerous individual prizes,Today u open ur mouth to talk sh**t about us.Lets see if he can win a single Ballon d'or with his so called team of family name humanity. let me tell u the Ronaldo fan boys on this platform that respect is reciprocal,if Ronaldo gives we Madridistas n our team respect that we deserve we will always give him that same respect back. But if he talks sh**t we will give him sh**t.

I still strongly think Real Madrid will be unable to steal CR7'S victory the moment the 2 face each other in the UCL.... Then, the winner will be decided on the pitch alone, not through votes

I have been waiting for long to hear this from him and finally the guy has spoken, what did you people expect to hear from him and Madrid players (Bale, Carvajah,Isco and Co.) were talking rubbish about him. Actually most of our players disrespected him and I did not expect anything short of this, he said what I wanted to hear for a long time and I don't blame him for that. When he left Manchester United his former team mates never rubbished him but rather they showed him respect, love and affection even though he was no more their team mate. It is hard for me as a Madrid fan that he has left but I respect, honour his decision for leaving and I will not insult him for leaving.

look who is talking about "in madrid some players think they are greater than others"... if anything to go by that was actually Ronaldo who was thinking that way... one of the main reasons why Ronaldo left Madrid is because he never earned more than messi... then he told nobody respected him but how come someone from his own team not respect him??? he just wanted a reason to prove he is greater than messi so he went to juventus to win champions league there ... remember messi never made champions league an obsession for himself still he has achieved more than Ronaldo just think what might happen if he really makes that an obsession...
