According to Spanish media VamosMiSevillaFC, renewal negotiations between Sanchez and Sevilla have broken down, with multiple MLS teams showing interest in signing him.
Reportedly, negotiations between Sevilla and Sanchez over a one-year renewal have effectively collapsed. Sevilla offered the player an after-tax annual salary of €500,000 and a role as a rotation player. Sanchez is said to have firmly refused to accept a lower salary.
Several well-funded American clubs have pursued Sanchez aggressively, and he has already received offers worth several million dollars.
