It has been an impressive week for Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez who has scored two goals in as many appearances this international break, continuing to prove just how important he is in Luis Enrique's Spain.
After not featuring at all during the World Cup in Russia, the midfielder shone against England and scored Spain's equalising goal at Wembley, and now he has added to that by following it up with another goal against Croatia.
Dani Carvajal centred from the right wing and Saul arrived with perfect timing and at pace to head home in Elche, the town where he was born.
The two goals are his only two for Spain in 12 appearances to date.
