Schira: Barcelona to make another attempt this week to sign Alvarez

According to well-known Italian journalist Schira, Barcelona will make another attempt this week to sign Atlético Madrid forward Álvaro Alvarez.

Reports indicate that Barcelona will renew their efforts to sign Alvarez from Atlético Madrid this week. The forward, known as "El Pequeño Araña" (the little spider), remains keen to leave Atlético Madrid and has expressed his desire to join Barcelona.

During Atlético Madrid's recent La Liga match, Alvarez was heavily booed by supporters before kickoff and when he entered as a substitute. He did not participate in the team's post-match lap of appreciation.
