Sevilla go for Marseille striker Maupay

TMW says Sevilla know Marseille are seeking to sell the former Everton forward and are ready to take him off their hands.

Sevilla coach Matias Almeyda is eager to see his attacking options improved this month and a move for Maupay is now being prepared.

So far this season, Maupay has made only two first-team appearances: one in Ligue 1 (one minute in a match against Nice in November) and two in the Coupe de France, one just before Christmas and one two days ago, where he also scored his first goal of the season in the 0-9 defeat to Bayeux.
