Sevilla vs Real Betis derby goes ahead on FIFA 20 with 60000 viewers

Two La Liga football stars found a novel way to give fans a footy fix despite the league’s suspension due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Borja Iglesias and Sergio Reguilon attracted 60,000 online viewers as they battled out a Seville derby online on FIFA 20.

And it was Iglesias that was celebrating as he led Betis to a thrilling 6-5 win, scoring the winning goal with his own avatar.

Afterwards, Reguilon wrote on Twitter: “Many thanks to the 60,000-plus fans who were live with us today.

“I hope that we’ve entertained you a bit and that you’ve smiled. You’re great!”
