Sevilla's launch ramp

When the summer transfer window closed, Monchi acknowledged that there were some things missing from his Sevilla side.

Now, with a few days left before the January transfer window opens, they're going to need to shift some players if they're to bring more in.

But this season has seen players pass through Sevilla and either launch or relaunch their careers, as many have in the past.

Diego Carlos has been one of the great discoveries. He's played more minutes than anyone since Monchi spent 15 million euros to bring him from Nantes.

He has a release clause of 75 million euros and is contracted until 2024.

Another is Lucas Ocampos. The Argentine is one of the top scorers this season with five goals and one assist, making him an indisputable player for Julen Lopetegui.

He only cost 10 million euros and, like Diego Carlos, his market value is now 25 million euros.

It's the same situation for Jules Kounde. The defender became their most expensive signing for around 25 million euros last summer, but his value is now 35 million euros.
