According to Marca, citing Sky Sports, Sevilla are looking to reinforce their defense in the transfer market, and Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has entered the team's scouting list. The 28-year-old English center-back is considered to fit Sevilla's defensive needs, but with interest from multiple clubs, completing the deal will not be straightforward.

The report states that Sevilla are actively seeking defensive reinforcements. Beyond the recently signed Sanganté, the team's center-back options are limited, with Kike Salas and Andrés Castelin being the primary choices, while Teixeira continues to be hampered by injuries, and Fábio Cardoso has been placed on the transfer list.

Manager Luis García Plaza also previously acknowledged that the team needed further defensive additions: "We are short of attacking players, but defense may also need a new signing."

According to Sky Sports, Sevilla have been tracking Chelsea center-back Tosin Adarabioyo. The defender featured in pre-season training, but with Chelsea signing Lacroix, competition in the defensive department has increased, and Adarabioyo may have the opportunity to leave.

Adarabioyo's physical attributes and Premier League experience align with Sevilla's requirements, but the club faces significant competition for his signature. Currently, Olympique Marseille, Benfica, and Aston Villa are all interested in the English center-back. Aston Villa are particularly keen following Konsa's potential move to Arsenal, which has prompted them to reassess their defensive options.

Beyond Adarabioyo, Sevilla are also considering Mallorca captain Antonio Raíllo. According to Sevilla ABC, the center-back is another option for the team's defensive reinforcements, and he previously worked with manager Luis García during his time at Mallorca.

However, for Sevilla to secure a new center-back, they must first move out existing players. Currently, Teixeira is the likeliest departure candidate. The Brazilian center-back was again sidelined by injuries during pre-season and is not in the manager's plans. He is considering a move back to the Brazilian league for a fresh start.
