According to Spain's Sport, Barcelona hope to turn the page quickly on a difficult few weeks, especially after losing to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and to Real Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou. Their next match is against Deportivo Alavés, and it comes after several games in which Pedri's performances have repeatedly been questioned.
The Barcelona players have already shifted their focus to that match, where they will face Flores's Deportivo Alavés. Journalist Manolo Lama believes Pedri was one of the most criticized players in those two defeats.
Lama believes the main problem for the Canary Islands midfielder is that his physical condition is not at its best: "To be a top player, your physical condition also has to be at a top level."
This directly affects Pedri's game. Lama said: "I see that he has physical problems. When he has physical problems, his passing accuracy is different."

People shin and complain too much! Players are not machines, they are human, first. Even machines get rusty... faulty... Why??? Lamine this, Rodri that, Pedri this??? After all, is Pedri superhuman? He was the best player, at least, in the first half that he played for the PSG vs. Barca game. It's normal if he is fatigued a bit. After all, he's played too many matches, lately. The noise is just too much, as if this great Barca team can't falter a bit, learn and improve in a much better way. It is not that bad the way so many pessimists think. It is well. just relax and chill as you yearn for the team to bounce back stronger than ever... Forca Barca!!!
