Sport reports Barcelona considering signing salinas and loaning him back to racing santander

According to Sport, Barcelona are considering signing Salinas and then loaning him back to Racing Santander.

According to Arco FM Cantabria, Salinas' transfer is progressing well and is expected to be completed in the coming weeks, likely before the end of June. All indications are that Racing Santander and Barcelona will reach an agreement through direct negotiations to avoid paying the full release clause.

Atletico Madrid are also interested in Salinas, but current reports suggest that Barcelona is the most likely destination.

Racing Santander values Salinas at approximately 16 million euros. However, the two parties disagree on whether a lower amount would be applicable under the terms. The club is also exploring a plan to loan Salinas back to Santander next season to continue his development, which would impact the final transfer fee and the sharing of player salaries. This detail, along with other additional clauses, is still pending finalization.

Barcelona is considering including the loan of a La Masia player in the deal as a key part of facilitating this acquisition. The sports management is also considering another option: completing the deal with a transfer fee plus bonuses and a sell-on clause for a future transfer.
