August 20th, according to every sports report, Lautaro is one of the best number 9s in the world. Although Barcelona has currently ruled out the possibility of trying to sign him, the player is still monitoring potential developments in the transfer market's final moments.
The Argentine striker is a legend for Internazionale, now serving as captain, and has renewed his contract until 2029. Given the current situation, it is almost impossible for him to leave, but considering he is one of the most prolific goalscorers in the world, no possibility can be entirely ruled out. His market value is estimated at 85 million euros, which, for a 28-year-old, is by no means an unreasonable price.
However, Lautaro is very satisfied with his situation at Internazionale. He is the team captain and helped the team lift the Serie A title, Internazionale's most recent, won with a solid performance. In the Lombardy capital, no one believes the team's core will leave, but if Barcelona makes an offer, everything could change. Barcelona has yet to find a replacement striker for Lewandowski and Ferran Torres in the final stages of this summer's transfer window, despite multiple unsuccessful attempts to sign Julian Álvarez.
If he joins Barcelona, his standing in international football would also increase. Lautaro was not a starter for Argentina in the last World Cup, not even playing a minute in the final. A move to Barcelona would put him on the world football stage faster, to compete for collective honors, which is also his goal at Internazionale, as well as the Golden Boot, and even the Ballon d'Or.
Lautaro is well aware that joining Barcelona would bring him more attention in the football world, but he is also very grateful for Internazionale's trust in him over the years. He has scored 175 goals for the team in 376 appearances.
In addition, Internazionale has also signed high-caliber players such as Dejan Kulusevski (Tottenham) to replace former Real Madrid player Dumfries, and also signed well-known players such as Aleksandr Stankovic (Club Brugge), Akanji, and John Stones (Manchester City).
In any case, if Julian Álvarez's transfer proves impossible, Barcelona still has not come up with an alternative plan and will need to explore other possible options.

Hatred for Barca is clearly all over the world. We still need a strong, quality finisher and also a very fast, experienced center back too before the transfer window closes.
Well said

By Next tomorrow he’ll be 29, though he’s still very very good and is one of the elite centre forward in the world but his link-up play is bad compare to that of alvarez and kroupi. Barca value a long term striker with a very good link-up play and has a goal scoring ability cuz they realize he will be much more dangerous when he unite with players like pedri, lamine, raphinha, gordon, adeyemi, rodri, i suggest thats why they keep hold on alvarez deal
