According to TNT Sports Brazil, on August 11, Beijing time (CEST), Barcelona may try to sign Real Betis center-back Natan de Souza to replace Ronald Araujo, who left to join Liverpool.
Araujo joined Liverpool on loan, and the agreement reportedly includes a €55 million buy-out option. After the departure of the Uruguayan center-back, Barcelona has set its sights on Natan de Souza, according to TNT Sports Brazil.
Natan de Souza, 25, is a left-footed center-back with a height of 1.88 meters. He came from the Flamengo youth academy and has previously played for Red Bull Bragantino and Napoli. Since joining Betis in 2024, he has played 97 official matches for the team.
Currently, Natan de Souza's market value on Transfermarkt is €25 million.
