The Valencia bus carrying Copa del Rey trophy is involved in a traffic accident

A bus carrying the Copa del Rey trophy, Valencia staff, some players and some family members was involved in a traffic accident in the early hours of Sunday morning in which one person was injured.

Police have released details on the incident, where a vehicle collided with a lorry before the bus became involved, though nobody on board the bus was injured.

There was no serious damage and the bus continued to the team's hotel in Jerez, albeit with a delay.

That was before returning to Valencia to celebrate the team's victory in their centenary year.
