Another embarrassing performance from Real Madrid caused Zinedine Zidane to explode at Vallecas, and you won't find anyone who says his reaction was over the top.
The coach arrived at his post-Rayo Vallecano press conference knowing that his words would make headlines, and they did.
He criticised his players harshly, but justifiably, and he appeared to choose exactly the right moment to raise his voice.
Zidane's comments were pointed in all directions, from self-criticism to taking aim at his players; he covered all bases.
"I'm responsible for this," he said, "I must apologise to the fans and the club."
But then he turned on the players, saying: "It was all bad; the attitude and the performance, we showed nothing.
"I'll always defend my players, but not today."
He went further, even questioning Gareth Bale's motivation when asked about the Welshman's commitment.
"I don't know if Bale is focused, you'll have to ask him," he said.
This isn't something we've seen from Zidane as he's usually restrained in his press conferences, often showing an elegance whilst making headlines.
Not always, though. He has shown his angry side before. The last example of this came in March 2016 after a 2-1 win at Las Palmas, when he was far from pleased and sent warnings to his players that changes would be made in the summer.
On that occasion, Madrid were 12 points off Barcelona, and the boiling point came after a defeat against Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"Playing this way, we're going nowhere," he said after the win.
"I'm very worried. If we expect something from what lies ahead then we have to play better."
