Barcelona's defence hasn't been as strong as it was last season and it's something those within the club can admit.
The numbers prove this sensation, with 10 goals having been let in over the course of their past six matches, none of which has finished with a clean sheet.
Up to now, Ernesto Valverde has put this down to some bad fortune, with many of the goals coming from awkward bounces, deflections or sensational play from the opposition's striker.
However, there is clearly an underlying issue.
Injuries haven't helped, with Samuel Umtiti out injured and backup centre-back Thomas Vermaelen joining him on the injury report.
This has forced Clement Lenglet to get involved much quicker and more intensely than would have been hoped for a new signing, with the Frenchman still looking a little raw.
His central defensive partner Gerard Pique hasn't been in great form either.
"We're going through a run where every time the other team approaches then they score, he admitted.
"But this is going to change."
Whether or not the defence has improved for the Inter match is the big question.
The Italians and Mauro Icardi will pose a major test, with little margin for error given that Lionel Messi's influence at the other end of the pitch will be missing.

Barca is a very gud team ..and it has no of top class players but when we talk about the Barca defensive line this season is not gud as it was last season ..they should look for new defender rather than pique Bcoz he is no more good defender..lenglet is a good defender and they need some new defender as Umtiti is injured .
