Labi Champion, a friend of Iker Casillas and of many Spanish footballers, spoke with the goalkeeper and with Fernando Hierro live on social media and they shared several anecdotes from back in the day.
One story that came up involved Casillas, Hierro and 5,000 pesetas - the old Spanish currency that would be worth around 30 euros.
When Casillas was getting a suit fitted for one of his first away trips with the Real Madrid first team, back when he was breaking into the senior side, Hierro and club delegate Chendo took him to the tailors.
Afterwards, Casillas had to get back to the suburb of Mostoles for a class and Hierro gave him 5,000 pesetas to get a taxi, since it was too far for him to drive to.
"That's what I did, I caught a taxi and I went," Casillas said.
"But then they came up with this story that I'd gone home on the metro and kept the money.
"I've since paid back those 5,000 pesetas."
