April 23 is Saint George's Day and it is a major holiday in Catalonia where a passion for literature is celebrated and the Universidad Internacional de Cataluna (UIC) decided to run a competition related to Lionel Messi this year.
The initiative, led by the journalist Miguel Angel Violan, had the goal of coming up with new ways to describe the Barcelona superstar.
"I thought it would be nice to link something academic with something popular like a player who many consider to be the best of all time," Violan said to Efe.
"Some may think there are no more adjectives for him, so this investigation wanted to see how true that is."
There were three new ways to describe the No.10 that made the final shortlist.
One was "re-gol-ucionario", a play on the word "revolucionario".
In English, that would be something like "re-goal-utionary".
The next word was "inadjetivable", or "unadjectivable" in English.
Finally, there was the term "General de Gol", meaning General of Goals and based on General Charles de Gaulle.

Some years ago on one of the national televisions, a certain white professor was interviewed and he was constantly referring to himself as "Mr". The interviewer, a Nigerian, asked him the reason behind that. The white Professor simply told him "Mr is the highest title". So of the University in Spain wants a name to describe Messi, it is not hard to get. Lionel Messi should simply be called "Mr Messi."

I am not surprised messi is tagged as the God, Goat, and even savior of football. well it's very simple think about this; if messi is not from this planet then ronaldo can never play better than an alien from the world of football.. so that means Ronaldo is the greatest player to have ever played football according to you arguments. Ronald worked his way out there which makes him exceptional But messi who we all say is an alien has it already he need not to work it out instead it comes when he touches the ball..
