Expectations for the World Cup

"I'm always incredibly excited to lift trophies; it's what I want most and a childhood dream: to play for the national team and lift the World Cup. However, we also need to be cautious and take it one step at a time."

Do you regret your teammate and friend Nahitan Nández missing out on the World Cup squad?

"I feel bad for him. We've played together for many years, and I know how he feels right now, but we have to respect the coach's decision."

"Of course, I accept that. The coach makes the decisions. Everyone dreams of starting, and I'm always ready to play for him."
